Event Four

This event will explore a variety of photographic opportunities in Greenwich, including views of the Thames and the London skyline; the Royal Naval College designed by Sir Christopher Wren; and ancient trees in Greenwich Park. As sun sets at approximately 4pm in Winter, there will be the opportunity to practice low light photography and make images of the illuminated skyscrapers of Canary Wharf or the Royal Naval College.

Event Five

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Autumn Colours

Our next landscape outing is to the High Beech area of Epping forest. This region of the ancient forest at this time of year is particularly beautiful. The rich autumnal colours on these mighty oaks, mature beeches and hornbeams shine with warm hues through a carpet of leaves. Among the forests are reflective pools, open glades and pathways allowing light through the canopy. A bonus to this visit is the abundance of different types flora and fauna. The fungi is especially good at this time nestling within the leaf litter, or on the fallen decaying trees left deliberately to promote this biodiversity.

Event Two

A two venue outing, to capture a romantic Medieval Castle within a former tidel flow river, owned by the National Trust. Explore ancient Woodland and the grounds, before heading off to Ayelsford, one of Kents oldest villages and it’s iconic stone bridge, and Friary and to (hopefully) capture the sun as it sets behind the bridge.

Chesterton Warwickshire

Our plan is to visit Chesterton in Warwickshire to shoot a lovely long tree avenue and the nearby newly restored windmill up on a hill surrounded by fields. The idea is to capture the trees mid to late afternoon and then be at the windmill until the sun sets around 7.00pm. The intention is to leave before midday and probably not return much before 10.00pm. Obviously car sharing is vital and I will have 2, maybe 3, spare spaces in my car if required. After each event we intend to have a image review and constructive critique session based around what we shot on the day, this we feel is vital to the learning process we hope to encourage within the group.
